Trump a racist? I thought you already knew.....The REAL Donald Trump

“I don’t have a racist bone in my body!” This said by the same man who unashamedly simplified four dynamic Democratic women of COLOR to just ‘Progressive’ Democrat Congresswomen, who originally came from countries whose governments are a complete and total catastrophe, the worst, most corrupt…” and then goes on to add by insisting that all four  women “go back and help fix the totally broken and crime infested places from which they came.” A president, who from day one of his presidency, has been accused of sexual misconduct, collusion with Russia, and obstruction of justice. The nerve !

Trump has the gall to try and discredit four Democratic lawmakers by declaiming audacious rhetoric that holds no truth. Three of the lawmakers, Reps. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (N.Y.), Ayanna Pressley (Mass.) and Rashida Tlaib (Mich.) were born in the United States and the fourth- Ilhan Omar (Minn.) is a naturalized U.S. citizen who was born in Somalia.  It can no longer be ignored that this president is a racist. Trump’s recent tweets are a continuation of his racially oriented and xenophobic agenda that serve one purpose… TO DISTRACT THE AMERICAN PEOPLE FROM THE REAL AND CRITICAL ISSUES AT HAND. We must not get distracted!

The Trump administration must be held accountable for the inhumane treatment at the border that is separating children and loved ones from their families and leaving many caged up in illegal horrendous conditions. We must not let our attention linger on hateful rhetoric that spews from a racist bigot that would love nothing more than to see our country divided. I think Congresswoman Ilhan Omar said it best, “He would love nothing more than to divide our country based on race, religion, gender orientation, or immigration status because this is the only way he knows he can prevent the solidarity of us working together across all of our differences.”

We must come together and do our part to get this man out of office! We know what this man is and who he stands for. Trump is not for the American people, Trump is for HIS people. These recent remarks are just confirmation of what we already knew. VOTE! With Trump in office for the next four years, our democracy, as we know it, will cease to exist. #WeAreGenz
